1)

|
While most
people who have web sites will want to have their own domain names [www.myname.com]
it is not required to have have your own hosting account.
We can create an account for you using an IP number [example:

3) I
have a Macintosh computer, can I get a web hosting account from you? |
|
Yes, you
should no problems installing, editing, or managing your web site on
our servers with one exception. When you establish an account
you will be assigned a Control Panel [accessed just like a web page]
through which you will be able to manage your web account. You
can also access a web site usage report [stats usage by people who
visit your web site] via this control. This site reporting is
something less than acceptable, however, so an external program is
supplied to customers that does a much better job of reporting the
statistical usage of your web site, but the Mac exception is,
to-date, no Mac version of this external program is available.
Note: the site reporting accessed via your Control Panel DOES work
for Macintosh computer users.

4) What
limitations are there regarding the content of my web site? |
| |
We are not
going to set-down the usual ardent list of cans and can nots.
Basically our policy is this, anything illegal anywhere on your web
site will result in a notification to remove immediately. If
not, then suspension of the ability to view the web site.
This is not a Democracy, the
powers-that-be have set the precedent that the service supplier [Us]
are 100% responsible for what our client base does. So, we have no
other recourse to prevent an involuntary stay in prison than to
follow this policy.
Not to worry, we will contact and
discuss any issues ASAP if and when they arise before slamming down
the hob-nailed boot on your site. Just be advised much of our
actions are dictated to us and not necessarily the opinions of the
company.
